Working in a Conservation Area can bring challenges – especially when creating new homes.  The development of a redundant area of farm in a Sussex Village required 3 separate planning applications due to the different Planning Policies governing each area of the site.

From left to right:

Replacement of a 1950s bungalow with a new 4 bedroom house; PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED.

Retention, enhancement, and extension of existing historic barns, to form a new 5 bedroom courtyard barn conversion; PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED.

Demolition of a concrete barn, and formation of 2 x 2 bedroom cottages; PLANNING PERMISSION GRANTED.

We are so, so pleased; we’ve worked with brilliant Clients, and over two years of negotiation, and committed, hard work.

We have no hesitation recommending Turner & Hoskins Architects for architectural design work and dealing with planning applications.  We were given outstanding service and advice throughout.

More to follow in due course.
