cock-a-hoop
adjective
- extremely and obviously pleased, especially about an achievement.
It’s always a bit of a thrill to see a project appear in print, particularly in some of the well-established and respected magazines. We’re delighted that Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine have been kind enough to include two of our projects in their February 2021 article ‘Beginner’s Guide to Renovation’.
The article discusses how the external appearance of a building can be improved by sometimes modest alterations to the choice of materials during renovation. It’s something we look at on a regular basis, and discuss and develop through the use of materials and samples boards, sketches, and 3D CAD models. It’s important to understand how some fairly straightforward changes can radically alter a house and turning it from an ‘ugly duckling’ into a welcoming and attractive place to come home to. And a good architect will help you through this process.
The projects Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine featured are:
The White House and Remodelled, Rewired and Rejuvenated (click on the names to see more)
Having a project featured suggests that others find some joy, or help from it, and it suggests that we have managed to create something noteworthy. It is always lovely to see one of our projects in print, and whilst we don’t always get a mention, it doesn’t detract from seeing them.
Remember: Sometimes the simplest changes to the appearance of a house can make it into a home you love and cherish – but don’t forget to check whether planning permission is required.
